As chief executive officer, Mr. Lee is responsible for leading NetSpend's payroll channel, Skylight Financial, established as a result of a merger between NetSpend and Skylight Financial in June 2008. Prior to his role at Skylight Financial, he served as president of the payment solutions group at the John H. Harland Company. At Harland, Mr. Lee was responsible for offering electronic payment capabilities to the 7,000+ financial institution relationships of the company. Prior to Harland, he was general manager of the e-payments/e-banking group at Certegy, now Fidelity National Information Services. The group provided online bill payment and banking services to their 1,000+ banking clients who served over one million consumers and businesses with payment and banking capabilities. In total, Mr. Lee has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.

The early part of his career was primarily spent with Accenture, where his experiences included technology development, business process re-engineering, and strategy formulation. Additionally, Mr. Lee managed a joint venture created between Accenture and PeopleSoft to develop a line of software products specifically tailored to the needs of financial institutions. Mr. Lee has a Bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.
