Mr. Tanis oversees product development for Skylight Financial, and serves as a member of the product management team at NetSpend. Mr. Tanis previously served as a product manager at Incomm, Inc., the nation's leading provider of gift card solutions for Fortune 100 companies and retailers in the U.S. Before Incomm, Mr. Tanis worked as the director of product development for CashStream, Inc., a payroll card solutions provider based in Irvine, CA. At CashStream, he developed a national payroll program and a gift card program. Prior to CashStream, Mr. Tanis served as director of corporate affairs for WMO Global, Inc., a stored value card solution provider focused on the Hispanic and under-banked market in Southern California. Overall Mr. Tanis has more than five years of experience in product development directly related to the prepaid financial services industry.

Prior to entering the financial services industry, Mr. Tanis was a practicing attorney and registered sports agent in California and Colorado. Mr. Tanis has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
